Pavement Foreman

EXCITING NEW ROLE FOR TAYLORS CONTRACTING

Taylors are continuing to expand, which has created an opportunity for a new position. The Pavement Foreman will be responsible for driving success across the pavement and roading works.

Our ideal candidate will:
* Be a hands-on foreman with heavy machinery experience, specifically the ability to operate a grader
* Hold a class 2 drivers licence. WTR endorsements are an advantage
* Have knowledge of reading and interpreting plans and survey set out accurately
* Come with a strong knowledge of pavement and roading works including previous experience leading a small team
* Have a good understanding of the current H&S requirements with a strong commitment to ensuring the standards are met
* Have a production based attitude to ensure targets are met
* Maintain excellent progress and time management skills
* Demonstrate strong communication skills

Drainage Foreman / Woman

The drainage unit is an integral part of the Nelson Contracting Division. We are looking for a person with strong leadership qualities to lead and deliver quality results from the drainage team.

Our Nelson Contracting Division employs up to 35 staff on various projects throughout the Nelson-Tasman region and are committed to exceeding client expectations through safe, quality work practices.

Our ideal candidate will:
* Be a hands-on foreman with relevant certifications
* Hold a class 2 drivers licence. WTR endorsements are an advantage
* Have knowledge of reading and interpreting plans and survey set out accurately
* Have experience in laying stormwater and sewer pipelines both concrete and PVC as well as associated ground infrastructure

* Have a production based attitude to ensure targets are met
* Have excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of personnel

Heavy Diesel Mechanic
