The drainage unit is an integral part of the Nelson Contracting Division. We are looking for a person with strong leadership qualities to help lead and deliver quality results from the drainage team.

Our ideal candidate will:

* Be a hands-on foreman. Relevant certifications would be an advantage but not a requirement
* Hold a class 2 drivers licence. WTR endorsements are an advantage
* Have knowledge of reading and interpreting plans and survey set out accurately
* Have experience in laying stormwater and sewer pipelines, both concrete and PVC, as well as associated ground infrastructure
* Have a good understanding of the current H&S requirements, with a strong commitment to ensuring the standards are met
* Have a production based attitude to ensure targets are met
* Have excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of personnel
* Be extremely reliable and dependable
