Bulk Earthmoving

Work undertaken includes a number of major bulk earthmoving projects such as:
- Construction of a seven kilometre road, designed to bypass the Nelson suburb of Stoke to provide traffic a high speed alternative to and from Nelson, freeing up Main Road Stoke for local traffic. The scope of the work was bulk earthmoving including clearing, topsoil stripping and respreading, cut to fill, cut to waste and borrow to fill.
- Earthworks associated with construction of a landfill (similar in design to a dam) and included bulk earthworks, 20m toe bund to landfill, rock excavation and construction of access roading. Around 580,000 cubic metres of soil and rock were shifted during the course of the project.
